Hospital and hospitality, stemming from the same latin root « hospes » (the host), jointly share some topics as important for one as for the other :

  • Values related to the attention paid to people (hence the term « hospitality »),
  • A critical resource identical « the bed »,
  • Shared issues : notion of night in relation to accommodation, duration of stay structurant (+/- 24 hours), importance os safety and hygiene,
  • Customers who want a level of comfort and quality of services tailored to their expectations.

These two words place the person, the host, at the center of the concerns.
